Dealing with Mobile Devices in the Classroom, Presented by Plante Moran

Plante Moran will address the unique challenges that face K-12 in trying to adapt to the proliferation of mobile devices that are coming into the classroom. Schools are looking for ways to improve the ratio of computing devices to students. Mobile devices such as iPhones, iPod touches, or other Droid-based smartphones can be leveraged to improve teaching and learning. We will have an educator discuss various resources, techniques, and challenges with utilizing these devices. There will also be a technical expert available to discuss the security and management considerations that should be addressed.
