A Message from our President . . . Thirteen years ago, parents, educators and political leaders had a dream; a dream of what public education could be like for Michigan's children and families. A dream to make schools relevant for students, responsive to parents and to give ALL parents a choice for their children. Today that dream is a reality. Nearly 230 new charter public schools and 100,000 students are living that dream in Michigan, in classrooms where each child matters, and where they are challenged to reach their highest potential. What dreams do you have to strengthen education across this state? What dreams are you carrying out in your own classroom? We'd love to hear them all!
