SELECTION PROCESS
Selection of the 21st Century Miracle Worker Teacher of the Year is a two-step process:
- A team of consultants will review all nominations and select a field of three finalists.
- MAPSA will conduct phone interviews with the individuals who nominated the three finalists and with the school leaders. The results of those interviews will be combined with the nomination materials and used by an independent panel of highly qualified judges for selection of the Teacher of the Year.

SELECTION PROCESS
Selection of the 21st Century Miracle Worker Administrator of the Year is a two-step process:
- A team of consultants will review all nominations and select a field of three finalists.
- MAPSA will interview via phone those individuals who nominated the three finalists. The results of these interviews, along with additional fact-finding efforts and the nomination materials, will be used by an independent panel of highly qualified judges for selection of the Administrator of the Year.

Charter School of Excellence |

SELECTION PROCESS
Selection of the Charter School of Excellence Award winner and honorees is a three-step process:
- A team of consultants will review all nominations and select a field of three finalists.
- MAPSA will conduct phone interviews with school representatives and contacts, gathering further research about the school.
- A second panel of judges will make on-site visits to the three finalists and choose the winner.
