The 2019 #MiCharterStory series will have three events - one in Detroit, one in Lansing, and one in Grand Rapids. For this reason, we're looking for stories that focus on charter schools in those cities and the immediate surrounding areas. Please select which city you're interested in: *

Your story should be specific - this isn't a general 'why do you love your charter school' question. Consider these prompts: 1) Give a specific example of an interaction with a student/teacher/school leader/parent/etc. that changed your life. 2) Share the exact moment you realized this was your calling. 3) Describe the day you realized your charter opened a new door for your future. Talk about the unsung hero in your school building, who helped you in a pinch.
