Imagine Learning is a language and literacy software program and it is especially useful for English language learners, struggling readers, special needs students and early learners. With Imagine Learning, students receive differentiated instruction in the five essential components of reading: phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, reading fluency, and reading comprehension.
Many programs focus exclusively on literacy; however, Imagine Learning’s additional language components (speaking and listening comprehension, etc.) set it apart as an especially effective tool for ELLs, struggling readers, and early learners.
The Imagine Learning software program aligns well with schools because it is not only research based, but it is also engaging and fun for the students. The program includes more than 4,300 engaging, multimodal activities that use texts, videos, animations, recordings, games, and more to teach literacy skills and concepts. Consequently, students are attentive and eager to interact with the program. This translates to increased usage, quality instruction, and improved performance.
Imagine Learning is focused on helping each student achieve success in their English language and literacy skillset. For many early learners the goal is to read on grade level by third grade. Others may be focused on a specific proficiency level or creating confidence in the language ability of its English language learners or struggling readers. By providing an engaging learning environment and real- time data tools teachers can monitor the growth of each student and identify areas that need improvement. Imagine Learning is committed to working with each individual partner on its goals for increasing student achievement.
