Cesar Chávez Academy

Situated in Detroit's Southwest neighborhood, Cesar Chávez Academy  serves more than 2,000 students in grades K-12, 88% of whom have Hispanic heritage and 35% of whom are English Language Learners. CCA embraces ethnic diversity and drives a bilingual school culture, and as a result has seen significant success since first opening its doors in 1996 - including a 96% graduation rate. 

CCA High School Principal, Juan Martinez (pictured right) is a Detroit native who has dedicated his life to supporting students in the Southwest community.
