Session: We all make up the village
Bernita Bradley is a social entrepreneur who advocates for and with families in Detroit, Michigan. She owns and operates The Village PCL, an outreach and recruitment team that works to assure the needs of the community, non profits, philanthropic groups and school partnerships are successful. Success meaning that the future outcomes of our children depends on how well we connect to education, employment and resource opportunities now. Bernita understands that community partnerships must begin with genuine relationships built on fidelity. This takes commitment from not just the community at large but the organizations in need of the people they seek partnership with. The Village believes that youth and parent voice is key to any organizations success and strives to be a liaison between the two.
