Matt began his communications and public relations career in the Michigan governor's office, serving as Deputy Communications Director for Governor John Engler and Press Secretary to Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus. Since leaving that role at the end of the Engler Administration, Resch has directed public and media relations efforts on behalf of two state Speakers of the House, a fortune 30 company, a state legislative caucus, a statewide ballot effort, a presidential campaign and many corporate, non-profit, professional association and issue advocacy clients.  In 2009, Resch Strategies was founded.
