At Professional Innovators in Education, we are proud of the support we offer candidates as they navigate the teaching profession. Each candidate is provided with an expert coach.
Our team of coaches has extensive experience in K-12 education, and above all, shares a passion for developing educators to have an impact on students’ lives.
Program coaches are hands-on within the program, offering real-time feedback, key insight on honing in on instructional practices, and supporting our candidates through each new lesson and moment.
We believe each candidate is unique, and our coaches strive to support our candidates in identifying their strengths and finding ways to use those strengths to improve in identified areas. Our coaches strive to see each candidate as an individual and tailor their support to best meet each person’s needs.

Program coaches are hands-on within the program, offering real-time feedback, key insight on honing in on instructional practices, and supporting our candidates through each new lesson and moment.
Special Education candidates begin with 18 months of intensive coursework. During the 12-18 month period, they will also be working to meet the internship/experience requirement of the special education component. Coach feedback is heavy during the 18 months, and one observation is required between 12 and 18 months.

MAPSA’s Professional Innovators in Education program is hiring an Assistant Program Director to guide teacher candidates through personalized learning plans, classroom observations, and MTTC prep.
