The Michigan Charter School Symposium is a conference built for charter professionals, by charter professionals, to celebrate charter professionals. We believe that to push the boundaries of innovation, we have to lead in the areas that matter to students and families most. That's why our sessions and speakers are curated in these core areas.

K-12 Access & Equality

Sessions in this category look at the impacts limited access to minority learners, how to support the needs of students facing poverty and trauma, and engaging parents to build meaningful school networks of support.

Elevating MI's Educators

Sessions in this category address how to cultivate professional growth opportunities for teachers, amplifying teacher voices to build a strong school culture, and creative practices for recruiting great educators.

Redefining our story

Sessions in this category will demonstrate effective strategies for telling your school story on digital/social platforms, how to address the MI charter narrative through powerful messaging, and how to drive enrollment/recruitment through storytelling.

Cultivating Innovative Ed

Sessions in this category will examine innovative educational strategies to drive student success, how to empower educators to be leaders and innovators in the classroom, and how state policy impacts our movement's ability to be autonomous educators.

Meaningful K-12 Success
