We commit passionately to both our mission and metrics.
MAPSA, Michigan’s Charter School Association, represents a statewide movement of charter school stakeholders. For over 25 years, we have harnessed the power of our charter community through direct and digital grassroots engagement, identifying their shared challenges, and developing resources that support their work. The work is sometimes hard and draining, requiring a dedicated and highly efficient team.
We are incredibly proud of the diversity reflected in our movement - from educators to students and families. We strive to elevate that diversity in all our efforts - from advocacy to storytelling to supporting educators serving varying communities of color across the state. Our goal as an organization is to advance educational equity - and that equity should not depend on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or any other factor of identity. To that end, we believe in building a richly diverse and inclusive organization, including a mission-critical imperative for all staff to both model and contribute to the vision we hope to achieve.
